Welcome to Computers in Cardiology 2006
The Mediterranean city of Valencia, Spain, has the honour to host the 33rd annual international conference of Computers in Cardiology from Sunday, September 17th through Wednesday, September 20th, 2006. It will be the first time that the conference is held in Spain. The conference will be organized by the Center for Research and Innovation in Bioengineering of the Polytechnic University of Valencia and will take place in the Conference Center of the university campus.
Attending this year's conference will give you the opportunity to visit one of the most active and emerging cities of the mediterranean. The third biggest city in Spain offers plenty of attractions to the visitor, including culture, nightlife, nature, architecture and science. Valencia is located in the mediterranean coast (it is the present venue of the America's Cup) and is only 350 Km from Madrid and Barcelona.
The conference will be organized by the Center for Research and Innovation in Bioengineering (Ci2B) of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, in collaboration with the Valencian Pro-Heart Institute (INSVACOR), the Generalitat Valenciana (Conselleria de Sanitat - Agčncia Valenciana de Salut, Conselleria d’Empresa, Universitat I Cičncia and Conselleria d’Agricultura, Pesca I Alimentació), the Valencia City Council (Delegation for Innovation and Information Society) and the Prince Felipe Research Centre.
